3. You’re known for asking questions that your subjects don’t always like. What considerations go into crafting the ideal Kaitlan Collins Question?
Ha! I think if you’re interviewing an elected official who is paid by the taxpayers, they shouldn’t like all of your questions. Or, they should at least get them off their talking points and make them uncomfortable. I always seek to be fair and respectful, but what’s the point of interviewing someone if you’re not going to go there and ask them what everyone’s thinking?
4. You’ve given your thumbs up to Chloe Fineman’s portrayal of you on Saturday Night Live. What celebrity impression can you absolutely nail?
I’m not sure Saturday Night Live will be calling anytime soon, but I’m pretty good at predicting what Trump is going to say.
5. Your hometown of Prattville, Alabama, is known as the Fountain City for its picturesque artesian wells. You’ve also spent time in Washington, D.C. where historic fountains are plentiful. What are your Top 5 favorite fountains from the places you’ve lived or visited?
OK, this is definitely something I’ve never been asked. I’ve got three. The one in Washington Square Park in Manhattan, the one at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. and the one in downtown Prattville.
