Paris Protests and Israel Unrest Aren't Stopping Travelers


Public demonstrations and strikes have made life hard for travelers this year.

Nationwide demonstrations have gripped France as citizens have voiced their anger over President Emmanuel Macron’s plan for pension reform. The protests have curtailed Paris’s public transportation and temporarily closed attractions such as the Eiffel Tower. Flights out of Paris-Orly Airport and Charles de Gaulle Airport were delayed and canceled on Monday because of a national strike.
