Times Internet has appointed Prasad Sanyal as its Business Head. The news was confirmed by Sanyal to exchange4media.
Before this, Sanyal served as the Chief Content Officer with HT Digital Streams for nearly four years.
He was the Editor with Times Internet for two years from 2015 to 2017.
In a career spanning more than two decades, he has also worked with Zee Media Corporation Ltd, NDTV and The Indian Express.
Sanyal started as a reporter with ANI in New Delhi in 2000. In 2005, he moved to CNN-IBN as a Producer.
He has donned many hats. Sanyal became Senior Output Editor with NDTV, News Editor with Inx News, Senior News Editor and then Editor with NDTV Convergence, where he completed five years.
In 2017, Sanyal took the charge of Group Editor with Zee Media Corporation Ltd where he stayed till 2019 before moving to HT Digital Streams as Chief Content Officer in New Delhi.
