The Moreno Valley Master Chorale invites singers interested in joining the group to an open rehearsal 7-9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11.
The rehearsal will be at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 11650 Perris Blvd., Moreno Valley, and the chorale will continue to hold open rehearsals every Monday in September.
The Moreno Valley Master Chorale, directed by Viorel Gheorghe, is beginning its 37th season. The first concert of the 2023-24 season will be a Dec. 3 performance in Palm Springs of Handel’s “Messiah” with full orchestra, according to a news release.
The group will also present a Christmas concert Dec. 10 in Moreno Valley.
The season will continue with “Music of the Masters” in the spring and a pops concert in early June, and the chorale also sings for many events around the Inland Empire.
This year, the Moreno Valley Master Chorale has funding for seven youth interns, ages 16 to 21.
