The SecretAir, by Belgian industrial designer Wouter Myny, is a concept for a sideboard that transforms into an office desk.
As for how the transformation takes place:
The initial opening step, which is meant to be done manually, appears it would be awkward. But I can see the appeal for those who work from home and want their “office” to disappear at the end of the day (assuming they don’t use their computer for evening entertainment).
The SecretAir is a concept, and as far as I can tell there’s no working prototype. Myny, who is based in Norway, writes that he’s looking for help to bring the product to market.
