Ørsted (OTCPK:DNNGY) said Thursday it named Rasmus Errboe as its new deputy CEO and chief commercial officer, as the Danish renewable energy company continues to revamp its executive team to cope with surging costs at some of its offshore projects.
Errboe, who has acted as interim CFO since November, had been set to return to his former position as CEO of Ørsted’s (OTCPK:DNNGY) Europe business but will now take up the newly created position as deputy CEO effective April 1.
Last month, Ørsted (OTCPK:DNNGY) launched a plan emphasizing cost cuts, a pause in dividends and new business priorities while appointed a new CFO and COO, and said it is now simplifying its top management structure to further sharpen its focus on project execution, financial discipline, value creation, and risk management.
