Cadbury has found itself in the middle of a social media storm after a customer’s complaint went viral.
X user @poppileboo took to the platform to express their horror at a Cadbury‘s Hero box error.
After going through a whole box of Heroes, the user was distraught to find out it was missing the Cadbury’s classic- Double Decker.
She posted: “Just opened a whole box of @CadburyUK Heroes and not a single Double Decker!”
Cadbury, the iconic British confectioner, was swift to respond.
“Sorry to hear that you have an issue. You should have a mixture of chocolates in your tub.” The firm offered to investigate the issue.
This isn’t the first time Cadbury has been in hot water over problems with their chocolate tub selections.
Last year another sweet-toothed fan took to social media after being left disappointed when his Cadbury’s creme egg was missing its notorious white and yellow-centred filling.
One emotional user wrote: “Why the f**k has Cadbury’s changed the Twisted Creme Egg in the box of Heroes? It is not the same I am raging.”
X user, Jo Cole said: “Just opened by Hero’s and the creme egg twisted are all strawberry flavour! What’s going on? – very disappointing!”

To which Cadbury, again, issued an apology.
Cadbury’s Heroes, known for their delightful assortment of mini chocolate bars including the much-loved Double Decker, are a staple in many households.
The apparent omission or mistakes made with selection box chocolates has left fans feeling short-changed.
The confectionery giant has urged customers experiencing similar issues to get in touch through its official channels.

Elsewhere, Whilst some disappointed fans may be complaining on social media, others are thrilled after finding a brand new chocolate bar which comes in unique flavours for coffee lovers.
Meanwhile, Sainsbury’s shoppers have been rushing to the store to bag a bargain on Cadbury chocolate bars that taste like a discontinued favourite.
