Menahga Ruby’s Pantry is held the third Saturday of each month at the Menahga High School. Food bundles will be distributed from 8 to 10 a.m. Donation is $25 per share.

The Watermark Art Center presents Minneapolis-based artist and botanist Sarah Nassiv, with an indigo dye and fiber community project titled “Weaving Water Workshop: Landscape of Creativity,” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 21 in downtown Bemidji. This free, interactive project is part of the 56th Watermark Art Festival’s family art activity area.

The Bemidji Area Church Musicians present Glenn Seibel, euphonium, and Wayne Hoff, piano at noon at United Methodist Church in Bemidji. A freewill offering will benefit scholarship programs.

Ruby’s Pantry-Laporte has a pop-up pantry from 4:30 to 6 p.m. or until bundles run out at the Laporte School bus garage, across from 315 Main St. W. Requested donation is $25 and only exact change is accepted. There is no restriction on how many bundles you can pick up. To pre-register and donate for your bundle(s), or to volunteer, visit www.RubysPantry.org. If you can bring boxes to swap out, it will be appreciated. Sponsor is Trinity Lutheran Church.

Friends of the Park Rapids Area Library are having a book sale from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the library on Thursday and Friday. Books of all types, including fiction, nonfiction, young adult and children’s books as well as audiobooks, DVDs and CDs will be available for a free will donation.

Free family enrichment classes from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Church in Bemidji include “Great Courses: How to Draw” and “Jewelry/Wirewrapping 101.” Classes are for ages 12 and older. Jillian Rae Band performs at 2nd Street Stage from 6 to 8 p.m. in downtown Park Rapids. Hailing from the Iron Range, Rae grew up playing in orchestras but is also influenced by traditional Scandinavian and Finnish music and brings those influences to her lead vocals, violin, guitar and keys.

Sounds of Spirit Lake presents Monroe Crossing from 7 to 9 p.m. on the shore of Spirit Lake in Menahga. Rain venue is the Menahga School. The free community event is supported by donations. For more information, visit soundsofspiritlake.com.
