The Indianola Police Department is following leads in another string of burglaries on U.S. 82, likely occurring early on Friday morning.
IPD Investigators confirmed to The Enterprise-Tocsin that three businesses, Alford’s Monograms & Gifts, Lost Pizza and The Perch Flowers & Gifts, were all broken into during the night.
This makes at least five businesses who have been victims of break-ins this month on the 82 corridor.
Young Beauty, a beauty supply store in the 400 block of 82 was reportedly broken into on July 2, where a large amount of cash was taken. The glass front door was shattered in the break-in.
This past Wednesday, Young Ideas, just two businesses down from Young Beauty in the same shopping center, was broken into, and a large amount of merchandise was stolen.
IPD named Lezerrick Wilburn as a suspect in the Young Ideas burglary.
No suspects have been named in the most recent break-ins, but investigators said they have a person or persons of interest.
