'What are they talking about?': Harris condemns Trump over mass deportation plans – video


Kamala Harris issued a warning to Hispanic members of Congress about Donald Trump’s immigration plans if elected president. Speaking to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute conference, the Democratic presidential nominee denounced Trump’s pledge to deport millions of people who are in the US illegally. Harris also hit out at Trump’s role in undoing national abortion rights, saying he was to blame for the death of Amber Thurman, a young Georgia mother who died after waiting 20 hours for a hospital to treat complications from an abortion pill. Thurman’s death, first reported on Monday by ProPublica, occurred just two weeks after Georgia’s strict abortion ban was enacted in 2022 after the US supreme court’s decision to overturn nationwide abortion rights. ‘It’s immoral,’ Harris said of the state’s abortion ban
