Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.80%


Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.80%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which rose 6.98% or 2,080.00 points to trade at 31,880.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:) added 4.31% or 3,350.00 points to end at 81,020.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.42% or 840.00 points to 25,420.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:), which lost 2.33% or 36.00 points to trade at 1,506.00 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) declined 1.66% or 110.00 points to end at 6,519.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) shed 0.72% or 21.00 points to 2,900.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 292 to 142 and 106 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.47% or 0.36 to $75.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.81% or 0.64 to hit $78.76 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.32% or 34.90 to trade at $2,674.20 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 4.11.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 102.68.
