New Delhi: Italian apparel brand, OVS has appointed ex-BIBA President Sundeep Chugh as MD for its India arm.
With Chugh’s appointment, the brand aims to expand its presence in the Indian fashion retail sector by introducing Italian styles to Indian consumers.
OVS is one of Italy’s leading clothing brand men, women, and kids, with over 1,200 stores in Italy and abroad. It owns brands such as OVS Kids, UPIM, BLUKIDS, CROFF, and STEFANEL.
In a LinkedIn post on Tuesday, Chugh said, “It is a privilege to lead the journey of OVS in India. I look forward to building OVS India into a brand that resonates deeply with Indian consumers while maintaining the core values of quality and inclusivity.”
Prior to joining BIBA Fashion, he served as the CEO of Costa Coffee India, where he led company’s expansion and market penetration. He was also instrumental in building Benetton business in India.
With over 25 years of experience across multiple industries, Chugh brings a wealth of expertise in profit center management, retail operations, sales and marketing, channel development and expansion, product management, turnaround situations, high-growth Strategies, and people management.
