Believe it or not, the 2024 Los Angeles Auto Show marks the spectacle’s 117th year in existence and this year, the world-famous and second-largest automotive exposition continued on for its traditional November scheduling. Although auto shows arguably scaled back considerably after the pandemic, with numerous automakers sitting out the big three auto shows (the largest being the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, and the third-largest being the New York International Auto Show), this year’s LA Auto Show still proved its importance to the industry for players of all backgrounds.
Not only did several automakers reveal new models and concepts, it continued its tradition as a convention for members of the industry to congregate and network in traditional fashion. The most notable events included the global debut of Hyundai’s new IONIQ 9 all-electric midsize crossover SUV; Volkswagen’s new third-generation 2025 Tiguan; and Kia’s new EV9 GT, refreshed EV6 GT, and Sportage compact crossoer SUV. Should you be curious as to what to expect at this year’s showing, or perhaps, are unable to make it to the City of Angels for its annual automotive extravaganza, we created a comprehensive photo gallery of all the automaker. booths at this year’s auto show.

Acura & Honda
Although neither Acura nor Honda had any reveals this year, the company brought its entire lineup for exhibition at their booths on the floor of the LA Convention Center. The most notable new vehicle on display was the new third-generation 2025 Honda Passport, while the Acura Performance EV Concept made an appearance on the other side.
Ford
The renowned Dearborn-based automaker too didn’t have anything to reveal. But in typical Ford fashion, the automaker took up a very large section of the LA Convention Center to showcase nearly its entire passenger car lineup, along with a display dedicated to the various new special edition Broncos now available. Should you have missed the Specialty Equipment and Marketing Association Show, or SEMA, in Las Vegas earlier this month, Ford brought some of its concepts out to Los Angeles for display.
General Motors
Detroit’s world-famous General Motors also made an appearance at this year’s LA Auto Show, though it too didn’t have any major reveals or announcements. Still, like its arch rival, Ford, GM took up a sizable chunk of the LA Convention Center floor to display its current lineup from its entire portfolio. Interestingly, Chevrolet took up the most space, while Cadillac and GMC seemed to be tucked away in the corners. Buick appeared to be absent.
Genesis
Genesis is one of the few automakers that did have something new to show: the mid-cycle refreshed 2025 GV70 and GV70 Electrified compact luxury crossover SUVs. As with other mid-cycle updates, the GV70 benefited mainly from equipment, color, and some mechanic revisions to keep the models updated and fresh. Alongside the revised GV70 models, Genesis showcased its current lineup.
Hyundai
Hyundai easily took the cake as the leading act at this year’s LA Auto Show with the global debut of its latest all-electric midsize crossover SUV, the IONIQ 9. It’s the latest addition to the company’s expanding electric vehicle lineup and is the company’s next biggest thing. In addition to the reveal of the IONIQ 9, which took its first bow at the iconic Sheats-Goldstein House in Beverly Hills, Hyundai also displayed its rad INITIUM hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle concept, as well as some of its comprehensive crossover SUV lineup decked out cool overlanding gear and accessories.
Kia
Kia was also one of the top acts at the LA Auto Show this year with the debut of several new vehicles. The biggest was the reveal of the all-new, high-performance variant of the EV9, called the EV9 GT. Additionally, Kia seized the spotlight to also showcase a newly refreshed EV6 GT and Sportage compact crossover SUV. Similar to Ford, if you weren’t around SEMA, Kia brought its PV5 WKNDR Concept to LA for exhibition.
Nissan
Nissan also wasn’t an automaker with any notable reveals, except for the new 2025 Murano’s first-ever auto show debut. However, that didn’t stop the automaker from coming out full force with a comprehensive and extravagant display of its current lineup. From its Rogue and Pathfinder Rock Creek Editions, to a unique display of its sports cars, as well as the new Kicks, Nissan certainly reminded LA Auto Show attendees that it’s still alive and kicking.

Stellantis
Similar to General Motors, Stellantis confined most of its brands to a large section of the LA Convention Center’s South Hall. While there weren’t any major reveals, FIAT showcased its latest stylized variant of its 500e EV, the Giorgio Armani Limited Edition. Dodge displayed its new 2025 Charger EV, and Jeep also brought out its latest Wagoneer S electric vehicle as well as a new Willys Jeep reincarnation based on the Wrangler, all of which were the most notable exhibits on display. And in traditional Jeep fashion, the automaker brought out its famous Wrangler ride-along exhibit to remind the world that it’s still one of the greatest and most capable off-road icons, in case anyone forgot.
Subaru
Subaru also sat out LA Auto Show in terms of reveals, though it still showed up with its massive and bright LED-screen exhibit that’s been the company’s signature footprint at auto shows as of late. Its newest vehicle on display only consisted of the latest and greatest Forester, while the company’s full lineup also festooned the Japanese automaker’s booth. Helping to fill the empty space were numerous decorations, all of which reminded show goers of Subaru’s commitment to the recreational lot as well as supporting environmental conservatory efforts. This time in Los Angeles, however, Subaru sadly didn’t bring out any puppies or dogs to show its support for canine adoption services.
Tesla
Interestingly, Tesla showed up this year at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Interesting, because Tesla isn’t really one to show up at auto shows. Though at the same time, it’s not really surprising given that the entire state of California is the EV automaker’s largest and most popular market. On display was the company’s full lineup, but the most notable showing was the display of the company’s latest Cybercab Concept.
Toyota
While Toyota didn’t have anything big to announce or reveal, that didn’t stop the automaker’s tradition of arguably having the largest booth and display at every auto show. In addition to its full and comprehensive lineup, the Japanese auto giant seized the opportunity to showcase some of the latest special edition models and concepts based on current production vehicles. And if you missed out SEMA, Toyota also brought out some of its most notable factory-modded concepts for all show going eyes to see.
Volkswagen
Volkswagen takes the position as the second most important reveal this year at the Los Angeles Auto Show with the debut of its all-new and third-generation Tiguan compact crossover SUV. Alongside the new Tiguan was a showing of the latest ID. Buzz, which finally launched on North American shores, as well as the new second-generation Taos.
