Sonu Nigam Gets Attacked On Internet By Fans After Virat Kohli’s Wicket In IPL 2025 – Daily Music Roll

Social media can be a very deceiving place and even celebrities cannot make an escape from it. A recent incident of social media attack on Sonu Nigam showcases the sheer drawbacks of Indian fans. It happened after a match in IPL 2025 where Virat Kohli was clearly dismissed by the amazing sportsmanship of cricketer Vipraj Nigam.

Indians on the internet who are mostly fans of the IPL team Royal Challengers Bengaluru as well as fans of Virat Kohli started showing their meaningless anger on the singer’s account because apparently he shares the same title with the bowler who took the wicket of Virat Kohli. While a lot will claim that fans have mistaken the singer with the bowler, it is clearly a remark of shallow humor.

After leg spinner Vipraj Nigam made Kohli go home for just 22 runs, it took a big toll on the whole team’s performance, and as usual, fans were shocked and angry about the wicket. When it comes to cricket, Mitchell Starc is best known for his amazing dives and he made tool an impressive catch on the Thursday match as well.

After the wicket was taken, Sonu Nigam’s comment section started flooding with angry and hateful comments from the fans, such as, “Big fan sir, but kohli ko out nhi karna chahiye tha.” Some other user said, “How dare you take Kohli’s wicket.” While they are all practicing a demonstration of confusion in this digital age; it is clearly an example of internet harassment done by Indian fans.

This is not the first time but previously, actor Arshad Warsi also faced similar harassment from the netizens of the internet when Gujarat Titans bowler Arshad Khan took Virat Kohli’s wicket. It was a match between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru where Arshad took the wicket of Kohli. Virat fans started trolling Arshad Warsi’s comment section because perhaps they were mistaken about the first name. The actor posted a picture on Instagram with Ajay Devgn and somebody commented, “Kohli ko out kyun kiya”.
