Ararat Tech Hub Hosts Online Business Workshop – Mirage News


The Ararat Jobs & Technology Precinct (pictured) will host Business Victoria’s Taking Your Business Online this month, a free workshop for small business owners and entrepreneurs looking to expand their online presence.

The three-hour workshop offers a comprehensive overview of digital technologies and how they impact modern businesses, as well as insights into understanding digital markets, assessing risks, and developing competitive online strategies.

The session will guide participants through the process of creating an effective website designed for business success, as well as cover essential planning aspects, including hardware and software considerations, and safeguarding online operations.

Participants will also learn how to leverage social media and email marketing to grow their online business and customer connections.

The workshop will be facilitated by Business Victoria’s Duncan Vincent. Duncan has close 30 years’ experience as a business development professional, trainer, facilitator, coach, franchisor, and business owner.

He brings first-hand experience using the training content and knowledge he shares and has facilitated numerous workshops and training programs in Australia and 11 countries in South Asia. Duncan’s focus areas include generating cash flow, customer service, recruitment, staff development, online business, and resilience.

The workshop will be held at the Ararat Jobs & Technology Precinct, 3/5 Laby Street, Ararat on Tuesday 25 February, from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.
