As Glossier launches an exciting new product, the brand finally joins Sephora UK

Glossier’s Perfecting Skin Tint never was anyone’s favourite makeup product.

Unless your skin was already flawless and just wanted a bit of non-shimmery glow, it was kind of redundant – and certainly not ‘perfecting’.

After it came out, any tint that followed was held up as what people ‘wanted the Glossier tint to be’.

Years on, the brand have listened to criticisms and launched a new foundation called Stretch Fluid that’s said to offer better coverage and glow, while still appearing skin-like.

If you’re like me, you won’t buy a foundation without seeing it in person first… Well, now that’s been made a bit easier.

Glossier has finally launched with a retailer in the UK – and it’s none other than Sephora.

Arriving from September 15 to Sephora Westfield Shepherds Bush (and online), soon Brits will have what shoppers in the US already have – as the OG minimal makeup brand launched there in February.

Expect crowding around the Glossier stand when it first hits Westfield. In the US, it was the most searched for brand on Sephora’s website prior to the launch, so people flocked to it when it finally arrived.

Kyle Leahy, Glossier chief executive officer, said the brand ‘is built on community’, and partnering with Sephora is a way to build on that community.

With beauty insiders having doubts about the longevity of Glossier over the couple of years – the brand previously made nearly a third of its workforce redundant, and critics have come for poor shade ranges and bad sustainability values – Sephora might be just one of the many things needed to inject new life and excitement into the once adored Glossier.
