Plans for co-operation between Chinese business and Belarus’ Hi-Tech Park (HTP) have been discussed at a recent meeting in Minsk
“A delegation of Chinese businesses visited the Hi-Tech Park,” the HTP press service informed. “The guests were impressed by the working conditions created for the residents, the achievements of HTP companies and their contribution to the economy of Belarus. The exchange of views turned to practical matters and, in particular, to discussing specific plans for Chinese businessmen to set up their own company in Belarus in order to join the Hi-Tech Park.”
The Hi-Tech Park was established in Belarus in 2005, and it is considered the leading IT cluster in Central and Eastern Europe, offering the best conditions for starting, running and developing a business. HTP residents can engage in more than 40 types of activities – including advanced solutions in the field of artificial intelligence, the development of high-end software, engineering solutions, games and mobile applications, IT in the field of healthcare, agriculture, fintech, banking software, laser technology, and optics. Currently, more than 1,000 companies are the Hi-Tech Park residents.
