Eight entrepreneurs to speak at GM Tech Climbers event – BusinessCloud


Some of Greater Manchester’ most exciting tech firms will be speaking at the GM Tech Climbers big reveal event.

AI dominates this year’s list, which will be revealed at an exclusive event at The Alan Manchester on Thursday December 4th.

The names of the companies on the 2024 list – and a second Ones to Watch – will be revealed at the exclusive event, which will be hosted by BusinessCloud’s executive editor Chris Maguire.

A total of eight entrepreneurs will be taking part in two panel discussions and sharing their insights.

They are:

  • Kate Longworth, CEO, Gaia Learning
  • Tracy Johnson, co-founder, Circle of Trust
  • Thomas Ballin, co-founder, Cytix
  • Joe van Gelder, CEO, Powdr

  • Patience Tucker, CEO, wi-Q
  • Iain Gurney, co-founder, Carma

Tech Climbers showcases trailblazing, product-led tech businesses that are scaling at pace and bringing innovations and digital advancements to the market.

With all eyes on artificial intelligence, AI startups hungry for capital have dominated the Greater Manchester Tech Climbers list, making up over half of the entries, and creating 70 per cent of the new jobs coming to Manchester’s tech sector.
