Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the rose 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the were Kojamo (HE:), which rose 2.90% or 0.27 points to trade at 9.39 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:) added 2.12% or 1.12 points to end at 53.88 and Orion Oyj B (HE:) was up 1.69% or 0.75 points to 45.14 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fortum Oyj (HE:), which lost 1.90% or 0.28 points to trade at 14.23 in late trade. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:) declined 0.23% or 0.03 points to end at 10.62 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) shed 0.19% or 0.02 points to 9.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 100 to 70 and 18 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.96% or 0.71 to $74.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.17% or 0.82 to hit $70.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.23% or 32.80 to trade at $2,707.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.71% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.13% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 107.61.
