Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.63%



Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.63% to hit a new all time high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.74% or 255.00 points to trade at 5,635.00 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) added 3.12% or 940.00 points to end at 31,030.00 and Delek Group (TASE:) was up 2.42% or 1,200.00 points to 50,800.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which lost 3.10% or 249.00 points to trade at 7,776.00 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.02% or 390.00 points to end at 18,910.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:) shed 1.24% or 121.00 points to 9,622.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 383 to 93 and 60 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.13% or 0.83 to $73.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.76% or 0.58 to hit $76.51 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 14.30 to trade at $2,654.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 108.80.
