Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.02%


Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 1.02%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Strauss Group (TASE:), which rose 6.20% or 386.00 points to trade at 6,611.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) added 3.25% or 82.00 points to end at 2,602.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.06% or 1,950.00 points to 65,700.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which lost 2.18% or 610.00 points to trade at 27,360.00 in late trade. Energix (TASE:) declined 1.40% or 16.00 points to end at 1,127.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) shed 1.33% or 14.00 points to 1,039.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 296 to 156 and 86 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.33% or 0.93 to $70.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.27% or 0.94 to hit $74.63 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 43.30 to trade at $2,737.20 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.70, while EUR/ILS fell 0.52% to 3.86.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 107.51.
