Each category is judged by distinct Jury Teams, and each year our collective juries reads like a who’s who of contemporary design. Branding & Identity Professional Winner: “Foundry Field: Brand Identity” by Clinton Carlson Design | University of Notre Dame is a branding system for a community-centric public baseball field that aims to highlight underrepresented histories, engage our community on issues of race, representation, and access, and introduce baseball to the next generation.

Built Environment Student Winner: “Neuman Forest Environmental Learning Pavilions” by Idaho Design Build Studio for University of Idaho is a collection of educational spaces for forest ecology and wider sustainability education, and a refuge for community members and visitors to engage with the surrounding woods.

Commercial Equipment Student Winner: “TetherLock” by Jakob Kohnle for Umea Institute of Design, an innovative tethering system that allows industrial climbers to secure their tools in an efficient and safe way.

Consumer Technology Professional Runner Up: “Fitbit Inspire 3” by Google Hardware Design Team for Google is an entry-level, approachable health and fitness tracker that automatically tracks your wellness to help you move more, sleep better and stress less.
