Judy Marie Thompson Rebers passed away on March 8th at the age of 71. She was born on December 22, 1952 in St Joseph’s Hospital, Park Rapids, MN to Cecil and Coral Erwin Thompson.
She attended Park Rapids Grade school and High School, graduating in 1971.
On June 24th, 1972 Judy married Kenneth Rebers at the Riverside United Methodist Church in Park Rapids, Minnesota. They lived in the Minneapolis suburbs until 3M Company transferred them to Austin, Texas in January 1986. At time of death, she was living in Georgetown, TX. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a loyal friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She loved her grandkids and they were her world. Her love and devotion were shown when she babysat each grandchild for the first 2 years of their lives. Time spent with family and friends was what she treasured the most.
Judy is survived by her husband Kenneth Rebers of Georgetown; two children; Ryan Rebers (Katie) of Liberty Hill, Tx; Michael Rebers (Janie) of Georgetown, TX; four grandchildren, Kayla, Keaton, Savannah, and Hudson; Sister, Diane Thompson Leonhardt (Chuck) of Lake Elmo, MN; Brothers, Larry Thompson of Jonestown, Tx and Dennis Thompson (Linda) of Park Rapids, MN and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coral and Cecil and her twin sister Jane Thompson.
Memorial Services to be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 700 W Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park, Texas 78613 at 3pm on March 24th with a reception to follow. Service to be livestreamed on https://www.youtube.com/@GoodshepherdCPTX
