Junior doctors’ strike: Why is there another round of industrial action in England?



The British Medical Association (BMA) announced the 72-hours strike, which began on Wednesday, in response to the Government’s “paltry” five per cent pay increase offer.

“The Government know this is not a credible offer, it’s a delaying tactic. They’ve left us with no option but to return to the picket lines,” said the junior doctors’ group on Twitter.
