“We’ve seen a huge synergy between gamers and general entertainment enthusiasts,” Heyman said. “People are playing games on the couch while they’re watching TV. We have a lot of our players subscribe to Max or have the Max app and the ad-supported tier so we’re communicating that to them.”
Heyman said she’s especially eager to bring this game to mobile since it bridges the gap between console and PC.
“It serves this in-between audience that has a desire for an authentic RPG experience, but they can play on-the-go,” Heyman said. “They can play on the subway to work. They can play when they’re at the airport, so we’re bringing Game of Thrones to gamers all day, every day.”
