Miko the moustachioed cat needs a home but hasn’t had a single application

Lovely Miko is looking for a new owner but hasn’t had one rehoming application – can you give her the forever home she needs?

Miko and her lovely white moustache have ‘stolen the hearts of all the cattery staff’ and she’s described as a ‘confident girl’.

She takes a little while to warm up to new people, but Miko, who’s in the care of charity Blue Cross Hertfordshire, can be affectionate once she’s built up a bond with you.

The domestic short-hair cat, who’s 10 years and five months old, might even bless you with a couple hand licks if you’re lucky.

The charity’s website reads: ‘Despite her age, she is full of life and enjoys playing with feathers and rod toys. She especially loves chewing on some cat grass!

‘Miko is looking for a home with a lovely garden for her to sunbathe in. She needs a home with only adults or older teenagers and no other pets.

‘Miko is a truly unique girl, who likes things her way and will make an amazing companion to someone looking for a bit of company and a furry friend to share their life with.’

The charity tweeted on Sunday that the poor girl hadn’t had a single rehoming application, writing that she ‘hasn’t found her love on the outside world.’

Unsurprisingly, everyone in the comments is a firm fan of Miko.

‘Such a sweet moustachioed miss, wish I lived nearer,’ wrote one person.

Another comment: ‘I just want to reach through the internet and rub that magnificent belly.’

Us too, tbh.
