SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Car enthusiasts, dealers, and manufacturers have taken over the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds this weekend for the first-ever Springfield Auto Show.
The show features 12 different car brands, with over 40 different models on the floor for people to check out at the Wilson Logistics Arena at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Organizers say the goal of the event is to provide attendees the exclusive and exciting opportunity to see the latest vehicles with zero sales pressure.
“So coming out and kind of getting a feel for what’s new, what’s on the market and…even if you’re not thinking about upgrading your vehicle right now, it’s a great way to understand how the industry is changing and what’s all going on,” said Kendra Aukamp, the show director.
Sunday, the last day of the event, is family day and will feature games and activities for kids, animal ambassadors from the zoo, Cinderella and Spiderman for meet and greets with the kids, balloon animals, and an RC drift track and cars for people to race.
