It’s no secret that marriage takes a lot of work, and this is often true even in the early days of the wedding planning process. Creating the perfect nuptials can be a stressful experience, so why not elope in the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile instead?
Teaming up with agency partners Zeno Group and The Kitchen, Oscar Mayer is continuing its “Keep It Oscar” social campaign by opening up the first-ever “Wienermobile of Love.” This limited-time chapel is encourages fans to sign up for an all-expenses-paid ceremony led by the brand’s beloved representatives, the Hotdoggers.
Though it made its big debut in the 1930s, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile has stood the test of time. Recent years have seen some serious resurgence in Wienermobile nostalgia as the vehicle has been made available for bookings through platforms like Airbnb and Lyft, as well as offering unique tours. Though it might seem random, the “Wienermobile of Love” is the latest manifestation of an intentionally light-hearted and self-referential brand platform.

Everything is coming up Oscar
“‘Keep it Oscar’ is about bringing levity to the moments we take more seriously than we should,” Stephanie Vance, associate brand manager at Kraft Heinz, told Adweek. “While weddings should be all about the love, joy and celebration of a couple’s union, we know the stress of planning and executing a traditional wedding can quickly take those feelings away.”
“We created the Wienermobile of Love to give couples a no-stress, fully planned ceremony at Las Vegas’ iconic Little White Chapel featuring our iconic Wienermobile and beloved Hotdoggers,” Vance continued. “From a wonderfully odd wiener cake to a playful wiener whistle quartet, it will be filled with delightfully unexpected moments that spark smiles in ways only Oscar Mayer and its 27-foot-long hot-dog-on-wheels can.”
