Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run in Jurupa Valley – The Press-Enterprise


A pedestrian in Jurupa Valley was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday, June 17, authorities said.

Riverside Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched around 2:35 a.m. to Market Street and 24th Street. The victim, located on the northbound shoulder of Market Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, the department said in a news release.

No suspect was in custody as of Saturday afternoon.

The pedestrian’s identification was being withheld pending notification of family.
