Climbing the Beeb Ladder: BBC News’ Jonny McGuigan has been named executive editor, growth and social at the U.K. outlet. In this role, he’ll oversee the digital growth of BBC News at home and abroad, and lead interdisciplinary teams at the Beeb’s Cardiff headquarters. McGuigan was previously the senior news editor for streaming.
