I’m calling this one out because I spent many years working in structural package design, at a corporation with a storage room filled with bottle designs from around the world. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen rotomolded structural package designs.
These vessels, by Shenzhen-based ID firm Dooo Design, were done for Chinese brand Zhihu.
The brief was to create “a baby-friendly, comfortable bottle shape.”
“[The inspiration was] cute potted plants, cared for with heart; [we] added rounded corners for easy grip and enhanced feel, maximizing friendliness.”
My Chinese-language search skills are weak, and I was unable to learn if these are on the market. I love how different the aesthetic is, but from a cost perspective, I’d be surprised if these made it past the concept stage.
