Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.36%


Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the added 0.36% to hit a new 3-month high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Shatirah House Restaurant Co (TADAWUL:), which rose 5.31% or 1.14 points to trade at 22.62 at the close. Fourth Milling CoSJSC (TADAWUL:) added 4.49% or 0.18 points to end at 4.19 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:) was up 3.36% or 2.20 points to 67.70 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:), which lost 2.88% or 4.20 points to trade at 141.80 in late trade. National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 2.73% or 5.20 points to end at 185.40 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:) shed 2.63% or 0.60 points to 22.22.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 166 to 155 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.84% or 0.66 to $78.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.88% or 0.72 to hit $81.31 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 13.00 to trade at $2,730.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.23% to 3.85, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 109.13.
