– Humane, the startup behind the new AI Pin, has fired 10 employees, which is 4% of its workforce. CEO Bethany Bongiorono says that the cuts are part of “some changes to best prepare us for continued growth.”

– Twitch, the popular game streaming platform, has also announced plans to lay off about 35% of its staff, which is about 500 roles. CEO Dan Clancy justified this move by saying that the company is “meaningfully larger than it needs to be given the size of our business.”

– Discord, another game streaming platform, is also laying off about 17% of its workforce, which is about 170 employees, The Verge reported. The company is reportedly doing this to “bring more agility” to the company.

– Duolingo, the popular language learning platform, is also laying off its contract workers. However, the company’s full-time employees are not being let go at this time.
