Kamala Harris issued a warning to Hispanic members of Congress about Donald Trump’s immigration plans if elected president. Speaking to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute conference, the Democratic presidential nominee denounced Trump’s pledge to deport millions of people who are in the US illegally. Harris also hit out at Trump’s role in undoing national abortion rights, saying he was to blame for the death of Amber Thurman, a young Georgia mother who died after waiting 20 hours for a hospital to treat complications from an abortion pill.
